Chad Pittman has extensive experience in fire service, currently serving as Fire Chief for the City of Largo since October 2018. Prior to this role, Chad held the position of Deputy Chief of Operations at Palm Harbor Fire Rescue from August 1992 to October 2018 and began the career as a Firefighter/Paramedic at East Lake Fire Rescue from October 1990 to August 1992. Chad Pittman is academically accomplished, having completed the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy from 2011 to 2014, earned a Master of Public Administration from Troy University (2009-2011), received a Bachelor in Public Safety Administration and an Associate in Arts from St. Petersburg College (2006-2008), and an Associate in Science in Fire Science Technology from St. Petersburg College (2000-2003).
