Teresa Gutierrez is a communications professional currently serving at the Voces Oral History Center since January 2023 and a substitute teacher for Laredo ISD since September 2023. With previous experience as a Texas Standard intern at KUT Public Media, Teresa pitched and produced audio segments and conducted interviews, while also working as a reporter/producer for Reporting Texas TV, where Teresa crafted news packages and anchored newscasts. Other notable roles include reporting for CivicsU Texas and serving as an audio intern at Voces, contributing to feature stories for KUT 90.5 FM. Teresa also held various positions in social media and digital media roles, starting from a social media committee chair for the Women's Relief Initiative. Teresa is currently pursuing a Texas Law Pipeline Program Cohort Scholar designation at The University of Texas at Austin, building on a Bachelor of Journalism degree along with a government minor.
