Matovu Joel is an experienced Information Technology professional currently serving as an Information Technology Administrator at Savanna Fibre Limited since April 2024. Matovu has also been a GDG Co-Organizer for the Google Developers Group since August 2023, fostering community engagement among developers interested in Google technologies. With a strong background in web development, Matovu has worked as a Web Application Developer for Laravel since July 2020 and as a Web Developer for WordPress Freelancer Cluj since January 2019. Other notable roles include serving as Information Technology Staff at Wananchi Group and Team Lead for Google Developer Student Clubs at GDSC CUU. Matovu's experience also includes an Information Technology Internship at SimbaNET (T) LTD and positions at Dataplus Systems Uganda and Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited. Matovu holds a High School Diploma from Notre Dame High School in Salinas, CA, earned between 2011 and 2016.
