Riitta Muhonen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head of Communications at Lapin hyvinvointialue since November 2021. Prior to this role, Riitta held the position of Digital Marketing Specialist at Liikkuva aikuinen from December 2019 to December 2022 and worked as a Communication Specialist at Oulunkaaren kuntayhtymä from August 2010 to November 2021. Earlier career highlights include serving as Editor In Chief at Kittilälehti and Enontekiön Sanomat, as well as a stint as a Stagiaire at the European Parliament. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Communication and Media Studies from OAMK, and studies at the University of Vaasa from 2016 to 2020.
