Thinesh Kumar Asogan began their career in 2011 as an Accounts & Procurement Intern at Sapura Energy Berhad. In 2012, they started their own business, NEC Healthcare, as a Sole Prop and developed the local haematology analyzer market, created a network of sales agents and channels, and provided end to end engineering and commissioning services for Haematology Analyzers. Within two years of operations, they acquired 250 clinics and hospitals with recurring sales. In 2014, they merged NEC Healthcare with two other trading outfits to form Raxxon Diagnostic Sdn Bhd and served as Managing Director. In 2017, they sold the company and became the CEO of Lapasar.com (owned by Tenderin Sdn Bhd). At Lapasar, they focused on commerce and digitizing small businesses in Malaysia. In 2020, they deployed an app to small retailers to procure goods for their outlets.

Thinesh Kumar Asogan completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Management & Human Resource Management from KDU Penang University College between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Foundation In Science in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) between 2008 and 2009.
