Yuree Whang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of business development and product management. Yuree is currently working as the Director of Business Development at LanzaTech since November 2021. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Honeywell UOP where they held various roles.

At Honeywell UOP, Yuree served as the Senior Product Line Manager / Marketing Manager / Offering Manager - Process Equipment from 2016 to 2020. In this role, they led a global cross-functional team for a mature product line, managing the profit and loss (P&L), developing strategic and market plans, and setting pricing. Yuree also worked on resolving issues, improving market position, training sales, reducing costs, and developing new products.

During their time at Honeywell UOP, Yuree also served as the Senior Product Line Manager - EHCT. Concurrent with their main role, they led a team to research, assess, and develop a new product line from scratch. This involved creating business cases, value propositions, business and market plans, and establishing relationships and agreements with potential external partners.

Before these roles, Yuree held positions as the Senior Product Line Manager - Detergents and Asia Sales Manager for Catalysts, Adsorbents & Specialties and Separations, Additives and Specialties.

Throughout their career, Yuree has demonstrated strong leadership skills, profitability maximization, strategic planning, market analysis, and relationship development.

Yuree Whang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and a Doctor of Law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
