Michael Craven has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Michael started their career as a Hairstylist at Bangz Salon & Spa in 2005 and later worked as a Senior Stylist at Salon Tribeca from 2008 to 2011. At Salon Tribeca, they promoted retail products/services, maintained client relationships, and provided various beauty services.

In 2011, Michael transitioned into retail management, working as a Co-Manager at Forever 21 and later at rue21. In these roles, they focused on driving sales, maximizing profitability, and controlling store budgets. Michael also played a crucial role in managing shrink and payroll.

From 2012 onwards, Michael moved into business development and marketing roles at L'ANZA Healing Haircare / DAVEXLABS LLC. Michael started as a Brand Consultant for the Carolinas, building relationships with salon owners, stylists, and distributors. Michael then progressed to become a Regional Manager for the Southeast and subsequently a Business Development Manager for the Southeast & Midwest. Currently, Michael is serving as the Events & Marketing Manager at L'ANZA Healing Haircare / DAVEXLABS LLC, where they are responsible for planning and executing promotional, education, and community events with salons and distribution partners.

Michael Craven attended Cape Fear Community College from 2006 to 2007, focusing on the field of study of Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General. Later, from 2001 to 2005, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
