Mieke Vandecasteele started their work experience in 2005 as a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked until 2009. In May 2009, they joined Lantmännen Unibake Benelux as the Cluster Finance Director Benefrites, a role they continue to hold.

Mieke Vandecasteele attended Vlerick Business School in 2018, where they studied Digital Leadership. Prior to that, they completed the Young Management Programme at Vlerick Business School in 2010-2011. In 2009-2010, they pursued a field of study in Financial Controlling at EHSAL Management School. Mieke Vandecasteele obtained a Master's Degree in Finance & Risk Management from Belgium Jobs between 2001 and 2005.
