Waqas Arshad has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as a Project Controller at Lantern Software and Security Systems Co. Ltd. since October 2022, where responsibilities include investigating project budget variances, calculating Estimate at Completion (EAC), and ensuring alignment with accounting practices. Previously, Waqas held the position of Chief Accountant at the same company, overseeing management accounts and accounting transactions. Prior to this, Waqas was a Senior Accountant at Mesk Specialist Contracting Co., preparing financial statements and managing ledger accounts, and an Audit Senior at Crowe Hussain Chaudhury & Co., focusing on financial statement reviews. Waqas holds an ACCA qualification and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
