Michael Folse is a Senior Structural Engineer at Lanier & Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc. since October 2013, specializing in structural engineering design and analysis within the marine industry. Prior experience includes roles as a Structural Engineer with WSNelson, URS, and Morphy Makofsky from July 2010 to October 2013, focusing on industrial sector projects, and serving as an Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of New Orleans from January 1985 to June 2010, where Michael taught various civil engineering courses while consulting on structural design. Earlier career roles included Civil Structural Engineer at WS Nelson and Civil Engineer at Bergeron and Lang Consulting Engineers, working on projects in mining, marine, and industrial sectors. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Colorado State University and both a BSCE and Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Tulane University.
