Alexis Sheldon is the Owner and CEO of Language Trainers, a company founded in December 2004 that specializes in in-company business language training and has developed an extensive database of 90,000 language tutors. Under Alexis's leadership, the company offers tailored language courses for businesses and individuals worldwide through a comprehensive online platform. Additionally, Alexis owns Translation Central, established in May 2004, which features a database of 60,000 translators and provides translation and localization services globally. Prior to these ventures, Alexis founded Upstream Connections in November 2003, focusing on digital marketing for language course providers and other clients, managing operations and SEO efforts for various multinational companies. Alexis holds a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Tourism Management from the University of Brighton, along with a CELTA qualification for teaching English as a foreign language.
