Senior Vice President of Consumer and Mortgage Lending at Langley Federal Credit Union

Rob Lefkowicz has extensive work experience in the credit union industry. Rob started their career at OMNI Community Credit Union in 2004 as a Member Service/Teller. Rob then worked at Suncoast Schools FCU, where they served as a Sr. Member Financial Associate and later as a Service Center Manager, responsible for day-to-day operations and successfully implementing cost-saving measures.

In 2013, Lefkowicz joined Filene Research Institute as an i3 Member, contributing ideas and innovation to the consumer finance industry. Rob then moved to Park Side CU, where they held various leadership roles, including VP of Member Services Delivery, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. In these positions, they oversaw the credit union's operations, strategic direction, and retail branching network development.

Currently, Lefkowicz is working at Langley Federal Credit Union, where they have held several roles. Rob started as VP of Operations, providing strategic leadership for systems, products, and services related to account, loan, and mortgage servicing. Rob then served as VP of Consumer Lending, responsible for the credit union's loan production and strategic goals. Later, Lefkowicz became the VP of Mortgage Lending, overseeing mortgage lending operations and ensuring the financial success and relevance of mortgage products. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Consumer and Mortgage Lending, where they provide strategic oversight and leadership for all consumer and real estate lending lifecycles while maintaining Langley's leadership position in the industry.

Rob Lefkowicz completed their MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2009 to 2011. Rob obtained a Corporate Education Certification in Analytics from William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business in 2018. In the same year, they also earned a Disruptive Strategies Certificate in Innovation from Harvard Business School Online. Prior to their MBA, Rob attended Rockhurst University from 2007 to 2008 for a Management Training Series. In 2000, they completed their undergraduate degree in History with a specialization in Ancient Studies/Civilization from Western Michigan University.

In addition to their formal education, Rob Lefkowicz holds several certifications. Rob obtained a Title Insurance Underwriter certification from the Virginia State Corporation Commission in November 2020. In January 2011, they became a Mortgage Loan Originator certified by NMLS. Rob also holds CCUE, CFSP, and CLS certifications from CUNA, which they obtained in November 2006.
