Wayne Shiong is a seasoned investor and board member with extensive experience in frontier technologies, particularly in computing and life sciences. Holding the position of Partner at China Growth Capital since September 2012, Wayne Shiong has led investments in notable companies such as WeRide. Currently, Wayne Shiong serves on the boards of multiple companies, including AI-based imaging diagnostics firms 睿心医疗 and PVmed, as well as surgical robotics pioneer 华科精准. Additional roles include being an investor at 壁仞科技 and a board member at organizations like 4B Technologies, which focuses on cures for neurodegenerative diseases, and InxMed addressing diffuse gastric cancer. Wayne Shiong holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Peking University and completed an Executive Development Program at INSEAD in 2011.
