Jessica Katona has extensive experience in creative design roles. Jessica began their career in 2008 as a Design Intern at Kelley Moore Creative Media, where they researched interior design products and techniques. Jessica then worked as a Freelance Designer for Steady Flux, designing and producing various deliverables for the small marine and aerospace engineering consultancy. In 2010, they worked as a Freelance Designer for Studio Matthews, where they were involved in the research, ideation, and detailed design of environmental graphics for the 11,000 square foot Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation visitor center. In 2011, they joined Digital Kitchen as an Associate Creative Director, responsible for research, concepting, art direction, and design across disciplines in motion, interactive, print, and physical spaces. Jessica worked with both small and large teams across multiple offices, leading projects, presenting to clients, and mentoring junior creatives. In 2015, they joined Landscape as Creative Director, and later, Associate Creative Director and Senior Designer.
Jessica Katona attended the University of Washington from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Communication Design.
