Emma Vitolo has a diverse work experience in the field of music education and arts administration. Emma currently works at Lancaster Country Day School as a Music Teacher and Band Director. Prior to this, they were employed by Sarasota County Schools as a Music Teacher from 2019 to 2021. Emma also served as an Education Associate at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall from 2018 to 2019 and as a Marketing Coordinator at Sarasota Opera from 2016 to 2018. Emma interned at Sarasota Orchestra as a Sarasota Music Festival Intern in 2016. Emma's earlier work experience includes roles as an Education Intern at City Theatre Company, The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Emma also served as a Student Teacher at Mifflinburg Area School District and held positions as a Recital Hall Technician and Research Assistant at Bucknell University.
Emma Vitolo received their Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Bucknell University in 2014. Emma then went on to pursue a Master of Arts Management degree at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they obtained a Professional Educator's Certificate in Music (Grades K - 12) from the State of Florida Department of Education. Prior to their college education, Emma attended Salem High School from 2006 to 2010. In 2014, they also obtained a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification Level I in K-12 Music from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
