Le Roux Cilliers began their career in 1984 as a Partner at Price Waterhouse. Le Roux then moved to Deloitte Consulting in 1992, where they worked as a Partner until 1998. During this time, they were the lead partner for major business transformation projects in South Africa for companies such as Nissan, South African Airways and South African Railways. Le Roux also completed their Masters degree in the Management of Quality Information. In 1998, they moved to Deloitte MCS Limited, where they worked as a Partner until 2004. During this time, they were the client lead partner responsible for major business transformation and re-engineering projects driven by the implementation of technologies such as SAP, Siebel, Oracle and Peoplesoft in the aerospace and defence, airline, manufacturing, telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries. In 2004, they became the Managing Director of 4Comfort Limited and Beech Builders Ltd. At Beech Builders, they specialized in property repair services to the insurance industry, reactive maintenance and general building services to residential, commercial and local authority customers. In 2009, they founded Laminin Solutions, an innovative data solutions company that connects workflows, operations and documents into a single view enabling businesses to grow and deliver superior customer service. In 2012, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Snowflake Software, bringing their financial and technology industry experience to the company.

Le Roux Cilliers obtained a B Compt Hon from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in the field of accountancy between 1975 and 1979. Prior to that, they obtained an M Compt from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in the field of Information Management between 1974 and 1976. Le Roux also completed their Matriek from Menlopark in 1973.
