Daniele Gerion serves as Vice President of Research & Development at TeraPore Technologies, Inc. since April 2021, and has held various leadership roles within LamdaGen Corporation from August 2013, including Chief Technology Officer and Science & Technology Advisor to the CEO, focusing on the development of mobile testing technology for rapid clinical measurements in infectious diseases. Prior experience includes positions as Sr. Engineer at Agilent Technologies, where expertise in high plate counts in LC column manufacturing was developed, Senior Scientist at LamdaGen, specializing in Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) technology, and Senior post-doctoral staff member at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, working with fluorescent quantum dots for imaging. Daniele began a research career as a post-doctoral fellow at UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, contributing significantly to colloidal quantum dots research, with influential publications in the field. Daniele holds a Ph.D. and MS in Physics from EPFL.
