Badal Modi is a Senior Mechanical Engineer II at Lam Research since September 2020, previously holding the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer I. Badal completed a Master's Degree in Aerospace at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where a significant research focus involved CFD of high-speed turbulent flows. During the tenure at IIT Madras from July 2016 to June 2019, numerous roles were undertaken, including M.S. Research, Placement Head, Department Councillor, Cultural Events Coordinator, and involvement in the Shaastra festival as Flagship Events Head, successfully organizing the first National Shaastra Research Conference in 2018. Prior experience includes a research internship at the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory and an engineering internship at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Badal earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from RBGI - Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes from 2011 to 2015.
