Sumaia Mahmud is an experienced professional in the seed testing and agricultural sector, currently serving as a member of the Purity Committee for the International Seed Testing Association since March 2021. In addition, Sumaia has been an Assistant Manager at Lal Teer Seed Limited since January 2015, where responsibilities include performing germination tests, physical purity analysis of seeds, moisture determination, and vigor testing. Sumaia holds a Master of Science in Horticultural Science and a Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture, both from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, completing the master's degree in 2012 and the bachelor's degree in 2009.
