Amanda Kennedy is an experienced educator currently serving as an Intervention Specialist at Lakewood City Schools since August 2012, where responsibilities include working with 6th and 7th grade students with special needs in both inclusion and small group settings for Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies. Prior to this role, Amanda gained valuable experience as a Substitute Teacher within the same district, covering various grade levels and subjects. Amanda also has a background in customer service from working as a cashier at Heinen's Fine Foods and experience in broadcasting as a DJ at WBWC 88.3 Radio Station. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mild/Moderate Educational Needs and Psychology, both from Baldwin Wallace University, and a high school diploma from Lakewood High School.
