David Taylor has extensive work experience in the technology industry. David started their career at Logica UK in 1983, where they served as the European Support Manager until 1986. Following that, they joined The Santa Cruz Operation and held various roles, including Technical Support Manager, Services Director (EMEA), Marketing and Services Director (EMEA), and Vice President (Worldwide Field Marketing & Professional Services) until 2001.
After leaving The Santa Cruz Operation, Taylor joined Caldera Inc., initially as the Vice President of Professional Services (Worldwide) from 2001 to 2002, and then as the Vice President of Product Management & Professional Services from 2002 to 2003.
From 2003 to 2012, Taylor worked at Citrix Systems Inc. as the Senior Director of Consulting and Education (EMEA). In this role, they expanded the consulting and education business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, developed programs to increase sales productivity and partner satisfaction, and implemented enterprise product solutions.
Since 2012, Taylor has been the Head of Channel and Alliances (EMEA) at Lakeside Software.
David Taylor attended the University of Warwick from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a BSc Hons degree in Computer Science.
