Jim Schlinsog is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Services Provider at True North Counseling and Consulting, PLLC since February 2021. Previously, Jim served as Program Manager and Mental Health Therapist at Lakeside Behavioral Health System from October 2017 and held a position as Clinical Therapist and Supervisor at Memphis Recovery Centers from July 2018 to August 2019. Jim has extensive experience in higher education, including roles as Director of Disability Resources for Students at The University of Memphis and Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Additional experience includes directorial positions in residence life and housing at Indiana University Southeast and Western Kentucky University, as well as a Residential Learning Coordinator role at Valparaiso University. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville and a Master’s in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
