Scott Monteith, MD, DLFAPA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Scott currently serves as the Medical Director at Network180 since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Chief Medical Officer at Lakeshore Regional Entity starting from July 2022. In 2021, they held the position of Associate Program Director, Psychiatry Rural-Track Residency at Munson Healthcare.

Dr. Monteith has also been involved with various organizations and boards. Scott served as a Board Member at Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services since September 2014. Scott worked as a Psychiatrist at NORTHERN LAKES COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH starting from December 1992. Additionally, they served as Psychiatry Clerkship co-Director & Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University since July 2006.

Dr. Monteith has been an Advisory Board Member at Patient Privacy Rights since January 2013. Scott also held multiple positions at Michigan Psychiatric Society, including Past President, Assembly Rep, and member, over the years starting from July 1990.

In previous roles, they were the Regional Medical Director at Beacon Health Options from February 2019 to July 2022. Scott also served as the Associate Medical Director, Population Behavioral Health at Together Health Network from August 2017 to March 2019.

Scott Monteith, MD, DLFAPA graduated from the University of Michigan in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. Scott then attended the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where they obtained their medical degree (M.D.) in Medicine, with a focus on Psychiatry in 1990.
