Gillian Siddall currently serves as President and Vice-Chancellor at Lakehead University since July 2023 and has held the same title at Emily Carr University of Art and Design since September 2018. Prior to these roles, Siddall was Vice President Academic & Provost at OCAD University from September 2015 to August 2018 and served as both Associate Professor of English and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Lakehead University from 1998 to 2016. Gillian Siddall holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English from Western University and a Master's degree in English from the University of Guelph.
