Michael Leahy is a dedicated school counselor currently serving at Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 since August 2023. Previously, Michael held the role of Director of Counseling and School Counselor at Saint Viator High School from August 2019 to August 2023. Experience also includes a school counseling internship at Buffalo Grove High School in 2018-2019. Michael's earlier career includes positions as a Consultative Sales Associate at Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. and as a Gateways Mentor at The University of Tampa. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Counselor Education/School Counseling from DePaul University and a Bachelor's Degree in Government & World Affairs from the University of Tampa. Michael has also participated as a Field Operations Intern for Dick Durbin's U.S. Senate campaign in 2014.
