Paul Guardi, P.E., serves as the Principal Resident Engineer and Bridge Inspector at Lake County since May 2014, responsible for routine and in-depth inspections of bridge structures, guardrail terminal inspections, and numerous infrastructure projects including various roadway enhancements and safety improvements. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Resident Engineer and Resident Engineer, overseeing projects such as roundabouts, signal controls, and road rehabilitations. Paul Guardi also contributed as a Resident Engineer Intern in 2012 and 2013, assisting civil engineers on transportation infrastructure. Educational background includes a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, focused on transportation and stormwater management, along with transfer credits in civil engineering from the College of Lake County. Prior to engineering roles, experience at The Home Depot included sales and operational responsibilities.
