Tiffany Sanderson serves as the President of Lake Area Technical College since January 2023, following a tenure as the SD Secretary of Education from December 2020 to December 2022. Prior to this, Tiffany Sanderson worked as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Governor Noem from April 2019 to December 2020. Tiffany Sanderson has extensive experience in educational roles, including positions at Vivayic as a Learning Solutions Designer and National Sales Director, and at the South Dakota Department of Education, where roles included State Director of Career & Technical Education and various leadership positions. Tiffany Sanderson began the career in education as an Education Specialist with the National FFA Organization from January 2003 to April 2008. Tiffany Sanderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education from South Dakota State University and a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from the University of South Dakota.
