Douglas Gerry is an experienced audio professional and educator with a diverse background in broadcast and music production. Currently serving as the Manager of Broadcast & Media Operations for Southern California Public Radio since October 2006, Douglas oversees a production team and manages audio systems while training staff in recording and audio editing techniques. As the owner of Skulldouggerry Music, Douglas produces and mixes music for various media, including radio and film. The educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California and a Master of Music from Western Washington University. Douglas has also held various teaching positions, including guitar instruction at the University of Southern California and Pasadena City College, while previously managing music programs at The Arbutus Club.
