Yutaka (Leo) Haneda serves as the Global Account Manager at Laird Performance Materials since January 2024, focusing on thermal interface materials and EMI shielding. Previously, Yutaka held the position of Manager of Business Development & Open Innovation M&A at DuPont, contributing to the incubation of startups and the development of cutting-edge technologies in various fields including automotive and semiconductor applications since November 2021. From June 2018 to November 2021, Yutaka was a Manager of Business Development at Mitsui Chemicals Group, where responsibilities included leading sales teams and driving revenue through innovative materials in high-tech applications. Earlier experience includes a role as Product Marketing Manager at Showa Denko - Hitachi Chemical, where Yutaka managed significant accounts in the renewable energy and electronics sectors, and as an Application Engineer at American Solar, developing solutions for thin-film photovoltaic technologies. Yutaka holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Arizona.
