Jo Brigdale is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Systems Engineer at Laing O'Rourke since November 2021, Jo previously held the position of GIS Engineer focused on enabling works at the same company from July 2019 to May 2021. Prior to this, Jo worked as a GIS Contractor at Waterman Aspen on secondment to Transport for West Midlands, specializing in spatial data. Jo's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at the University of Worcester as a GIS and Mapping Technician, providing GIS solutions and serving as a liaison for various organizations, along with experience as a sessional lecturer. Jo's expertise encompasses the creation of online and desktop mapping applications, spatial data maintenance, and quality assurance, demonstrating a strong background in GIS technologies, education, and project leadership across multiple sectors.
