James McLarty is a Site Engineer at Laing O'Rourke with experience spanning various roles in engineering and project management. Since November 2020, James has contributed to significant projects, including the Eastern Freeway and Bulleen North Structures, and has supported Temporary Works design management for major level crossing removals. Prior roles involved engineering delivery on the Larrakeyah Defence Precinct and sustainability initiatives for Sydney Metro West. James's earlier experience includes tutoring high school students and serving as an Integrated Engineering 1 tutor at the University of Sydney while completing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Project Management. Notable internships include contributions to the NorthConnex project with Lendlease and work placements with Central Coast Council's Water and Sewer Department.
