Charl Brits is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, including Group Chief Information Security Officer and Head of IT Network and Security at Laing O'Rourke, as well as Head of Group IT Security at DS Smith. Prior roles also include Head of Information Security Advisory at Royal Mail and Enterprise Security Architect at Tesco PLC, along with management experience at Deloitte. Charl's academic background includes a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and a BSc in Information and Knowledge Systems, both from the University of Pretoria. Charl holds multiple certifications, including CISSP, ISSMP, SABSA, and TOGAF.
