Brian Elliot is an experienced professional in the fields of industrial design and stop motion rigging. Currently serving as Lead Rigger at LAIKA, LLC since 2007, Brian specializes in the rigging of props and puppets, alongside designing and fabricating custom mechanical components for animation. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Basil Transgegics from 1992 to 2017, focusing on industrial and retail display design for prominent brands such as Nike and Adidas, and creating sculptures for private collections. Earlier career experience includes designing footwear and accessories at Nike from 1989 to 1991, where duties included artwork presentation, technical drawings, and material specifications. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
