Jefferson Kangacha is a Laidlaw Research Scholar at Laidlaw Foundation since April 2022 and has been the Head of Strategy at School for a Village since December 2018, focusing on enhancing science and technology education in marginalized areas of Kenya and India. Prior experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Cornell University's Institute for Digital Agriculture, a Business Development Consultant for an Agri-tech Innovation Program at Humans to Humans, and a Short Term Consultant for SAP's Africa Code Week. Jefferson founded The Eden Horticultural Hub, aimed at revolutionizing horticultural farming in Kenya, and served as President of TEENNATION, promoting youth inclusion in Africa. Additional roles include Management and Programs Intern at Global Minimum Inc. and Research Associate at Catalytiks Limited. Jefferson is pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in International Agriculture & Rural Development and Information Science and Computing at Cornell University, alongside a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from Watson Institute.
