Clyde Acosta has a diverse background in writing, public service, and library assistance. Currently serving as the Parish Council Minutes Clerk for Lafourche Parish Government since May 2018, Clyde is responsible for creating and archiving official records of Council meetings. Additionally, Clyde has been a Branch Assistant at Lafourche Parish Public Library since February 2016. Previous experience includes working as a Staff Writer for Fathom Media, where contributions were made to What Now magazine, and serving in various roles at Nicholls State University, including Distribution Manager and Reporter for Student Publications. Early career positions also involved management roles at Larose Regional Park and Civic Center and Bayou Playhouse. Clyde holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Nicholls State University, obtained between 2011 and 2014.
