Bob Emer, CPA, ESQ, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in management and financial oversight. Currently serving as Managing Director of Finance at Lafayette Square since June 2023, Bob oversees all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, and tax management. Prior to this role, Bob was the Chief Financial Officer at Samson Investment Partners, where responsibilities included investment performance and cash management. Bob's tenure at Goldman Sachs spanned over 25 years, holding various Vice President positions that encompassed global financial oversight, vendor management, and complex investment strategies. Earlier experience includes roles at First Boston Corporation and Deloitte, focusing on financial reporting and audits. Bob holds a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law and a BS in Accounting, cum laude, from Syracuse University.
