Mehdi Bouayad has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Mehdi began their career as a Stagiaire - Ingénieur de developpement at CACIOPEE in 2001. Mehdi then worked as an Ingénieur de developpement junior at Syndeos Technologies from 2002 to 2004, and as an Ingénieur de développement Senior at Netfective Technology from 2004 to 2006. Mehdi Bouayad went on to work as an Architecte J2E / Directeur Technique pôle J2E at Inova interactive from 2006 to 2008. Mehdi subsequently held roles as Chef de Projet Technique / Architecte J2E and Service Center Manager at Bull Information Systems from 2008 to 2010. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as an Architecte IT and Responsable Informatique Interne at Bull. Mehdi Bouayad then joined Leyton and served as the Chief Information Officer from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they were responsible for defining and executing the IT strategic plan and redesigning the information system. Mehdi also established a strong IT department to support various business units. After that, they worked as the Group Chief Information Officer at INTELCIA from 2014 to 2018. In this role, they defined and executed the 2014-2018 master plan and managed the group's IT budget. Mehdi also led the integration and merger of four companies' information systems. Most recently, Mehdi Bouayad worked as the Chief Transformation Officer at DXC Technology from 2018 to 2019, where they were involved in leading transformation initiatives. Mehdi currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at LafargeHolcim Maroc, where they are responsible for IT governance, KPIs and SLAs management, budget management, and reporting.
Mehdi Bouayad holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Networks from Al Akhawayn University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the same university from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)² in February 2023, the Certified SAFe 5 Lean Portfolio Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2022, and the ITIL 4 Foundation certification from Axellios, obtained in the year 2023.
