Sonya Williams has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Sonya is currently working as the Director, People Business Partner at Ladder since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Xylem from April 2020 to March 2022 as a Senior Manager, Global HR Business Partner, Technology Digital Solutions. Before that, they were a Senior People Business Partner at Flexport from July 2019 to April 2020 and a People Business Partner from August 2018 to July 2019. Sonya also worked at Delta Air Lines as a Human Resources Manager (SkyTeam Alliance) from September 2015 to August 2018, and at Air France as a Business Partner, Human Resources (SkyTeam Alliance) from June 2013 to September 2015. Sonya started their career at Citi, where they held roles such as Junior Generalist, Human Resources from April 2012 to June 2013 and Specialist, Human Resources from June 2011 to April 2012.

Sonya Williams holds a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business from Hartwick College, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Sonya has pursued several certifications, including the InsideOut G.R.O.W. Coaching Model from InsideOut Development, Mindgym, Infinite Differences from MindGym, and they are currently pursuing the Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR) from SHRM.
