Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, has extensive experience in nursing informatics and clinical documentation. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene specializes in clinical documentation and leads initiatives in care planning and patient bedside education. Prior experience includes a role as Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where Charlene implemented the A4 Healthmatics ED application in a level one trauma center. Earlier, as a Senior Business Consultant for Kaiser Permanente IT, Charlene modeled clinical concepts for the organization's Convergent Medical Terminology and contributed as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
