Daniel Lefebvre has extensive work experience in the agricultural sector, particularly in the dairy industry. Daniel currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Lactanet since June 2019, overseeing the company's overall operations. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager of Lactanet starting from November 2009. From April 2006 to June 2019, Daniel held the position of Director of Research and Development at Lactanet, where they played a crucial role in the company's research efforts. Daniel began their career at Lactanet as a Dairy Nutrition Specialist in July 1993, and held this position until April 2006.

Daniel Lefebvre has an extensive education history. Daniel obtained a B.Sc. (Agr.) degree in Animal Science from McGill University - Macdonald Campus from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Animal Science from the same institution from 1990 to 1998.
In 2009 to 2010, Daniel attended McGill University, where they completed an Executive Management Program (Mini-MBA) in the field of Management. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Animal Nutritionist from the American College of Animal Nutrition (ACAN) in 2000 and as a Professional Animal Scientist from the American Registry of Professional Scientists (ARPAS) in 1999. In 1989, they also earned the title of "Agronome" from the Ordre des agronomes du Québec.
In 2013, Daniel pursued further education at the Ivey Business School at Western University, enrolling in the Cultivate - Strategic Agricultural Leadership program. The end year of their studies is not provided.
