Jonathan Sheffi has a diverse background in various industries, including life sciences, technology, venture capital, and strategic marketing. Jonathan is currently Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Labviva, a position they have held since 2023.
Prior to their current role, Jonathan served as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners from 2015 to present. In this role, they invested in seed-stage companies and provided support to NextGen's portfolio growth.
Jonathan has also worked with multiple startups, serving in a New Market Entry Strategy role from 2022 to 2023.
Jonathan held the position of Director of Product Management at Paradigm in 2022, where they played a key role in the development of the company's organizational plan, job descriptions, and product tools and processes.
As an Entrepreneur in Residence at Veeva Systems from 2021 to 2022, Jonathan diligently researched new markets and presented fundable business plans for new lines of business to the CEO.
Jonathan's experience also includes positions at Google, where they worked as a Senior Product Manager from 2019 to 2021 and as a Product Manager from 2017 to 2019. Jonathan led various initiatives, including the Genomics API turnaround, strategic partnerships, and recruitment efforts.
Before their time at Google, Jonathan co-founded Curoverse in 2012 and held roles as VP of Customer & Business Development and Interim CEO. Curoverse was later acquired by Veritas Genetics.
Jonathan's earlier experience includes advising Rock Health in 2012, an advisor role, and working at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics as an Associate Director of Commercial Operations from 2011 to 2012. In this role, they led contracting strategy and execution and spearheaded various restructuring and operational improvement projects.
Jonathan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where they were part of the Class of 2011.
Jonathan Sheffi has a strong educational background in various fields. Jonathan holds an MBA degree in General Management from Harvard Business School. Prior to that, they obtained an MEng degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a focus on Computational Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Jonathan also holds two Bachelor of Science (SB) degrees from MIT, one in Computer Science and Engineering, and the other in Mathematics.
In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills. Jonathan completed the Practical Product Management certification from Pragmatic Marketing in February 2013. In 2005, they obtained the Applied Financial Modeling certification from DealMaven.
