Rui Curado da Silva is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in physics. Currently serving as an Investigador auxiliar at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e FÃsica Experimental de PartÃculas since August 2010, and as a Professor auxiliar convidado at the Universidade de Coimbra since February 2013, Rui has a strong academic and research background. Rui held a postdoctoral position at the Departamento de FÃsica da Universidade de Coimbra from October 2002 to July 2010, focusing on developing Laue lens CdZnTe focal planes for significant ESA Cosmic Vision missions. Rui's career began at the Observatório GeofÃsico e Astronómico da Universidade de Coimbra from January 1996 to September 1998, where responsibilities included demonstrations. Rui earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Strasbourg between 1998 and 2002 and holds a degree in Engenharia FÃsica from Universidade de Coimbra obtained in 1994.
