Inês Ochoa is a skilled physicist specializing in experimental particle physics, currently serving as a La Caixa Junior Leader Fellow at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas since July 2020. Ochoa previously held the position of Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York from July 2015 to June 2020, and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London from April 2011 to April 2015, contributing to the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Ochoa earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Elementary Particle Physics from University College London between 2011 and 2015, following a Master’s degree in Nuclear and Particle Physics from Universidade de Coimbra from 2005 to 2010.
