Hugo Simões is a skilled researcher with significant experience in the fields of bioengineering and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and previously as a Research Fellow at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas since February 2011, Hugo has contributed extensive knowledge to pioneering research. Prior to this role, Hugo worked as a Research Fellow at the Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica from October 2008 to August 2010. Educationally, Hugo Simões holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, attained between 2013 and 2018, and a Master of Science degree in the same field, completed from 2003 to 2008 at the same institution.
