Bruna Sarmento is currently an Estagiária de Engenharia - Segurança de Processos at Braskem since June 2023 and has been an Aluno pesquisador at the Laboratório de Computação Científica e Visualização - LCCV since September 2022. Previously, Bruna held a position in Iniciação Científica at the Laboratório de Sistema de Separação e Otimização de Processos - LASSOP from October 2021 to August 2022, focusing on the pyrolysis of urban solid waste and the characterization of oils produced from pyrolysis using GC/MS. Bruna is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Alagoas, expected to graduate in 2025, and completed an Integrated Technical Course in Chemistry at Instituto Federal de Alagoas in December 2019.
