Xavier Blanc serves as the Director at Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) since January 2021 and has been a Professor at Université de Bordeaux since August 2010. In addition, Xavier Blanc co-founded Promyze in March 2016, a startup developed from over two years of research and development at LaBRI focused on software quality. The startup's tool, Themis, aims to measure and enhance software development practices. Previous academic experience includes a position as Maitre de conférences at Pierre and Marie Curie University from September 2002 to August 2010. Xavier Blanc holds a PhD in Software Engineering from Pierre and Marie Curie University (1999-2001) and a Deug in Science from Université Paris 13 (1993-1998).
