Shankar Anand is a highly experienced Senior Scientist currently at LabGenius since November 2024. Previously, Shankar held the position of Senior Scientist at NovalGen from December 2022 to October 2024, where the focus was on antibody engineering for oncology and autoimmune diseases, including the development of bispecific and multispecific antibodies. Prior experience at B&S Group involved leading the development of bispecific T cell engagers and establishing a biologics laboratory for preclinical drug discovery. As a National Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Shankar enhanced expertise in scientific research and various methodologies, including next-generation sequencing and multicolor flow cytometry. Earlier work at Premas Biotech concentrated on gene cloning and therapeutic protein development. Shankar holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the National Institute of Nutrition and an MS in Biotechnology from Andhra University.
