Professor Nick Fang is an advisor at Labby. Nick was previously a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from January 2011 to July 2022. Nick was also a research associate at UCLA from January 2004 to October 2004 and an assistant professor at the University of Illinois from January 2004 to December 2010. Fang's research focuses on photonics and microfabrication.

Nick Fang's educational career includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MS in Physics from Nanjing University, and a BS in Physics from Nanjing University. Nick also attended high school at Nanjing Foreign Language School where they studied French Language and Literature.
