Max Montes, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP has over 20 years of experience in project management and business analysis. Max began their career in 2001 as a Quality Assurance Analyst for PMSI/Tmesys, now Optum via mergers and acquisitions. In 2007, they were promoted to Senior Implementation Manager for a workers' compensation pharmacy & ancillary benefits management company. In 2019, Max joined Datex Corporation as a Senior Project Manager in the Project Management Office. Max managed and delivered implementation projects for hosted and on-prem customized installations of the Footprint (FP) WMS and performed Scrum Master job functions for one of Datex's Scrum delivery teams. In 2022, Max moved to Lab Logistics as a Logistics Project Manager.
Max Montes has an extensive educational background. Max obtained an Associate of Arts - AA from Hillsborough Community College in Pre-Pharmacy Studies from 1996 to 1999. Max then attended the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business from 1999 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Information Systems and Biology (dual major). In 2017, they completed a Certificate Program in Project Management from St. Petersburg College. In addition, they hold several certifications, including a Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education obtained in July 2020, a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) obtained in July 2021, a Project Management Professional (PMP)® obtained in December 2017, and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) obtained in October 2020.
