Scott Jorbel is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience at La-Z-Boy Incorporated since July 2016, currently serving as Mechanical Engineer IV, where significant contributions include leading a motion mechanism platform project projected to save over 1 million dollars annually. Previous roles at La-Z-Boy involved implementing a DMAIC problem solving methodology to address quality defects, enhancing product designs for improved performance and cost efficiency, and managing the design and testing of various materials. Prior to La-Z-Boy, Scott held key positions at Dyco Inc. as Engineering Department Manager and Applications Engineer, where responsibilities included managing a team, coordinating with operations, and designing innovative engineering solutions.
